A busy month on site

November report
by Site Manager Nick Curmi

It has been a big month around site… Some of the many projects our team have completed include:

Main entrance carpark upgrade including the asphalt surfacing, railway sleeper wheel stops and line marking including traffic control at the entry.
The installation of the Nursery concrete loading bay in the energy park.
Installation of a pressurized pumping system for the cafe toilets located adjacent to the east side of the DIG office.
Completion of Eric Bottomley’s memorial seats located on Africa Hill, with a view over the park.
Completion of the Dapur renovation – beautiful building in the Indonesian Village used for our cultural programs and available for hire after hours.
Additional highlights are the reciprocal roof structure built in place of Jabrils hut on Africa Hill (behind Eric’s seats) and the installation of a tyre retaining wall in the playspace addressing a safety concern – both achieved in collaboration with Earthships Australia.
