Be part of a people-powered community finding hope in action. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Climate and ecological crises are shaping our lives, right here in Australia.
It might feel like a distant problem, with distant solutions. But solutions are happening on the ground in your community right now.

CERES has been implementing solutions for decades, and with your support, we’ll continue for decades to come.

Community-led solutions are happening on the ground in your community right now.

our wins

We rely on the grassroots support of the community to bring the transformative projects to life that we’re known for.

In 2021 we raised over $60k from the local community to help with the final stages of our Community Garden Renewal, which was opened in early 2021.

This year we raised $80k for our Urban Farm Renewal, bringing urgent upgrades to our Honey Lane farm, and allowing us to create new teaching spaces for kids and adults of all abilities.

How to Support CERES:

Becoming a regular giver is the most sustainable way to support CERES. From as little as $2 a month, you can help connect more students to nature and support our beautiful park in Brunswick East for over half a million visitors each year. Regular giving allows CERES to plan more effectively and build resilience.

You can now add a $5 or $10 tax-deductible donation each time you shop at the Merri Cafe, Nursery, Grocery and Visitor Centre. This is a quick and easy way to support the park to remain beautiful.

Holding a fundraiser at your local school or sporting club? Supporting CERES allows the funds you’re raising to be invested back into your local community through supporting our urban farms, our Brunswick East park, our network of social enterprises, and learning through our education programs.

A gift in your will is an opportunity to ensure CERES continues to thrive well into the future. A will is an important legal document to determine the disbursement of your estate and assets after you pass away. We recommend you seek professional legal support to write or modify your will.

Does your company want to invest in local system-changing organisations? Whether you’re wanting to create long-lasting change through a workplace giving partnership, or a one-off corporate donation.

Frequently asked questions:

Keep the lights on at CERES. Almost all of the funding we receive is for particular projects and outcomes, so any donations we receive through this page are our lifeblood, allowing us to build resilience as an organisation.

If you’re interested in seeing your donation go to a particular project or area, please get in touch with us here.

CERES is a registered charity with ACNC, with DGR-1 Status and a proud non-profit partner of 1% for the Planet.

We love to encourage our community to do both. The social enterprises you’re supporting support local jobs and a local economy, but incur overheads to operate. Making a donation on top of supporting our enterprises is the best way to see the park you love cared for.

Yes, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
