Board reappoints Cinnamon Evans as CEO

On behalf of the CERES Board I am very pleased to advise that we have reappointed Cinnamon to the role of CEO for a further three years commencing 26 January 2015.

This was an easy choice. Over the past two and a half years she has done an excellent job. She has provided leadership to the organisation in often trying times.

Due in significant part to her efforts, CERES has grown into a stronger and more stable organisation than it was when she started.

I know that CERES is about a lot more than money but three years ago we had serious financial difficulties and in each year since then our financial performance has improved. Sound finances lay the foundations for us to do the things that we want and need to do.

Under her leadership our main enterprises, one way we make the world a better place, have gone from strength to strength.

She has helped to develop a sound plan for the organisation’s future and has worked with the Board and Members to develop a clear understanding of the pathway that will allow CERES to successfully pursue its mission.

Please join me in wishing Cinnamon well as she embarks on the next three-year phase as CERES CEO.
