What We Do

Our vision is for people to fall in love with the Earth again

CERES is an environmental education centre, community garden, urban farm and social enterprise hub spread across four locations, linked by the Merri and Darebin Creeks on Wurundjeri Country, Melbourne. 

By supporting the CERES EOFY (End of Financial Year) Appeal you will be supporting the CERES you love and maintaining our special place within your backyard. 

Fair Food

CERES Fair Food delivers organic groceries to households across Melbourne, sourced from over 150 farmers and ethical producers.

Fair Wood

CERES Fair Wood supplies farm forested, sustainable timber and firewood.

Joe's Market Garden

CERES Joe’s Market Garden is a two acre organic farm located along the Merri Creek in Coburg.

School of Nature & Climate

Our education offerings at CERES, at schools and online are focused to respond to the climate and ecological crisis.

For many our chickens are the star of the show at CERES, we’d like to introduce you to Cheeky, Heidi and Helen, three of our famous hens, although they may look similar, these chooks have VERY distinct personalities.
