CERES is an environmental education centre, community garden, urban farm and social enterprise hub spread across four locations, linked by the Merri and Darebin Creeks on Wurundjeri Country, Melbourne.
26 January each year is a day of great sadness for many First Nations people, who never rightfully handed over, gave up or sold this land. On January 26, CERES encourages understanding, recognition and respect for the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. If you’d like a quiet space to sit and reflect today, our Namalata Willem cultural space is always open to visit for quiet contemplation.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung people of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of the land on which CERES stands. We are deeply grateful to Elders, past and present, for their care and protection of these lands over millennia.
