Corporate Events at CERES


CERES is a hub of social enterprise, community, urban farming and wild space in Melbourne – a one of a kind venue for corporate events. Our Corporate Event Package enables exclusive access to the Village Green & Village Pavilion or Meeting Rooms for your end of year celebration. Host a celebration among the gumtrees, along the Merri Creek, with community gardens, chickens and a gorgeous onsite market garden nearby.

CERES event package includes staff support on the day – to setup and packdown our hire equipment, including trestle tables, chairs, PA and festoon lighting. 

  • Venues: Village Pavilion, Village Green and/or Meeting ROOM 1 (additional cost). See below for images. 
  • Availability: 2.30pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday; Weekend day + evenings
  • Quote: $2200 for 8 hours of venue hire
  • Equipment Hire: $5.50/chair; $15/trestle table; $220/PA setup
  • Catering: Available via the Merri Cafe (local, organic catering) or Tamil Feasts (Sri Lankan feast prepared by former refugees and asylum seekers)
  • Bar Service: BYO alcohol (discuss our licencing requirements with us before doing so) or utilise the CERES bar service.
  • Wet Weather: You can request to hire ROOM 1 (our Meeting Rooms) for a heavily discounted additional fee of $660 (usually $1100 per day) as a wet weather backup.


What better way to finish the year than to get out onto the farm and community gardens with your team for a day or half day of corporate volunteering, in conjunction with your corporate event. We also offer meeting room hire.

Corporate Event Venues

Village Pavilion

Undercover pavilion adjacent to CERES Playspace. Hire of the Village Pavilion includes hire of the nearby Village Green. Capacity: Up to 90pax undercover, up to 300pax outdoors. 

Village Green

Beautiful lawned area at CERES, including an outdoor stage. Hire of the Green includes Village Pavilion hire. Capacity: up to 300pax.


Formal meeting rooms, AV equipment hire available (PA and Data Projector) for presentations, kitchenette access, heated indoor venue. Capacity: up to 100pax in theatre style seating.

  • NOTE: CERES staff do not provide on the day event management. Caterers and event organisers are responsible for your own tidy up. CERES provides bins.
  • All sound off by 10pm
  • Guests departed by 10.30pm
  • All event equipment and supplies must be removed on the day of the event
  • EPA regulations: no noise audible at the nearest residence
