Who we are
CERES is an award-winning environmental education centre, urban farm and social enterprise hub located on Wurundjeri land in Brunswick East, Coburg and two sites in Preston. Once a landfill site and wasteland, today CERES’ Brunswick East site is a thriving, vibrant community. With over 450,000 visitors a year, CERES is the most visited environmental centre in Australia.
What we need done
CERES School of Nature and Climate consists of three delivery areas: Student Programs, Teacher Programs and Adult Learning. This role will be working across both Student and Teacher Programs teams.Â
The team requires the skills of an experienced service designer and administrator to streamline systems so our customers have a seamless experience, and provide communications support so we can meet targets and increase bookings.Â
This role requires a customer-centric focus, attention to detail, and an ability to report school participation in our offerings and develop efficient approaches to improving workflow using automated cloud-based platforms.

Our vision is for everyone to fall in love with the Earth again, so we’re looking for someone who shares CERES’ values and a passion for environmental sustainability.
We’re seeking someone who has excellent communication skills and innovative approaches to improve workflow and streamline admin tasks.Â
Integral to this role will be a strong working knowledge of Excel and experience in service design including the use of Canva, Mailchimp and CRM software.
