Olives to Oil is our annual gathering where we bring the community together to harvest olives and press them into delicious local oil.
To help us manage the olive abundance and to stop things getting olive-whelming we’ve made a few key changes this year, be sure to read the details carefully.
Saturday 22 June, 4:30pm

Celebrate the Winter Solstice at CERES.

Come warm your hands by the fire, sip on some mulled wine and feast on local food.

Enjoy fire performances, live music, and activities for kids, all culminating in a spectacular fire sculpture finale.

We are privileged to run trips to the remote Community of Mäpuru in East Arnhem Land.

A unique opportunity to learn about Yolngu culture from Indigenous leaders passing on their traditional skills and knowledge in basket weaving and bush survival.

Saturday 7 September, 10:30am

Weed Dating. If you haven’t heard of this before, think Speed Dating, but Weeding at the same time. This session is for people aged in their 20’s and 30’s.

Joyfully connect to each other and the earth while learning a bit about this unique Melbourne Urban farm. You may find a lover, or a love of plants!
Do you have a flannel fetish? Or like to get a bit dirty? Then this is for you!

Weed Dating. If you haven’t heard of this before, think Speed Dating, but Weeding at the same time. While Weed Dating sessions are open to people of all genders and sexualities, this session is specifically for members of the queer community.
