Pick the perfect bouquet of Spring blooms which may include poppies, sweet pea, ranunculus and anemones.

Log off the apps and pick up the gardening tools this Spring at Joe’s Market Garden in Coburg. Daters get their hands dirty on the picturesque urban farm while getting to know each other through facilitated conversations and activities.

Take a walk along the rows and pick the freshest, sweetest broad beans you can find.

A program designed to connect kids with nature, explore independently, discover the wonders of our natural world and participate in caring for our environment.

The activities change with the seasons but could include things like: bush cubby building, art with natural objects, meeting worms, netting for water bugs and more.

Being a young person can be tricky. 18-25 and feeling a bit blergh?

Join our free ‘Growing Together’ program – connect with other young people through food in CERES farms & kitchens, learn new skills and get involved in your local community food system.

This program is for people who are currently feeling disconnected and may be disengaged from work or education

Join us for a community celebration of the humble broad bean (fava) and the spring harvest at CERES Joe’s Market Garden in Coburg as we mark 80 years since Joe Garita first planted beans on the farm.

A day of celebration including music, cooking demonstrations, farm tours, pick-your-own beans, garden workshops and activities for adults and kids alike. 

Tickets are free but limited.

The beauty and the uniqueness of the Merri Creek is a testament to the thousands of volunteers who have brought the creek back from pollution, weed infestation and neglect.

Share what you love about the creek, your vision for how it could be, and help shape priorities for its future at this collaborative session.
