CERES was established in 1982, and has grown over many decades to include an online grocery, nursery and bookstore, urban farms, ethical wood merchant, and education centre.

CERES is an environmental education centre, community garden, urban farm and social enterprise hub spread across four locations, linked by the Merri and Darebin Creeks on Wurundjeri Country, Melbourne.

Joe's Market Garden
CERES Joe’s Market Garden is a two acre organic farm located along the Merri Creek in Coburg.
School of Nature & Climate
Our education offerings at CERES, at schools and online are focused to respond to the climate and ecological crisis.
Join us to celebrate Olives to Oil our annual event run by CERES, bringing people together to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil.
We’ve got drop off points at CERES Brunswick, Sunshine and Werribee for residents of relevant councils.
